For clients wanting multiple online programs, Web Courseworks has developed dCourse Titanium, a content management system which utilizes .NET calls to a database. dCourse Titanium enables collaborative online development. Writers, subject matter experts, and web developers all work in the same online interface, reading and responding to one another’s comments and changes.
At Web Courseworks, we intentionally enable clients to modify courses after development by licensing dCourse Titanium at no charge if the project is part of an RFP. So long as the course is used for ten or more years, the client can adjust course content as organizational needs evolve. dCourse Titanium publishes using common development languages such as Flash, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. So a client’s in-house developers can also modify the code, style sheets, and customized Flash to reflect ongoing revisions.
dCourse Titanium is special in that it publishes a packaged course in HTML format. The entire course directory can migrate from a server to a workstation or to another server, and the course can be burned to a stand-alone CD-ROM. Our courses also communicate with any learning management system that is SCORM or AICC-compliant, allowing clients to easily track user progress and performance.
For clients who want to develop independently, we resell and provide training for both Lectora and Elluminate Live! Lectora is a development tool best suited to traditional, asynchronous, tutorial-style materials. Elluminate Live! Is a web conferencing platform designed for eLearning and eTraining.
